I am a self taught artist that is still learning a lot about the craft of drawing. I was born in South Africa and immigrated to Australia in 2017 with my husband to find a better life for our young daughter at the time.
I have always loved drawing and have wanted to try and bring out the character of the animals that I draw.
I have not been brave enough to draw humans yet.

I try to see the small details. The things that our eye doesn't notice, but sees when it's not there.
I love trying to created an atmosphere by just using a single animal, with no background where possible. it's almost like...putting it all out there...no distractions....just the subject.
