What a honour
I was so honoured on the 18th of October 2025❤️I got invited to the Scone Grammar School to their beautiful art show, and WOW! There are super talented youngsters! It was so inspiring. And the little mini artworks were fabulous! I bought 5 😄 I just couldn't resist.Thank you SO much Anna Towse and Shereen Butters. You hosted a lovely event. I was asked to say a couple of words... Jesmonite Creations
So it has been a very busy week creating new jesmonite prodructs.  They have been a great hit! And they make perfect gifts for anyone who just loves to decorate their space.  Each one is so unique and totally 'one-of-a-kind' ❤️  Handmade by myself , and double sealed with an acrylic sealer, so they are water and scratch resistant. I am absolutely in love with the process of making these, and I hope you will come check them out.

'King of the Ranges' weekend - Murrurundi
It's another beautiful spring weekend here in Murrurundi, and there is alot of excitement around the 'King of the Ranges' event happening only a couple blocks from my art gallery.  It has been really lovely seeing so many new faces, and from so many different parts of the Hunter. This weekend I introduced 'Little Silver' - a Graphite sketch of a young Brahman calf, as seen in the photo. I wanted to try out some new tools that I bought recently, and I have to say, that I thoroughly enjoyed creating this piece. There are alot of little details when you look closely.  I have been working very hard on creating new artworks to fill up the empty spots that has been left after the Opening Day. 😅 And I cannot thank everyone enough for all the kind words of encouragement and support.  I will be releasing 2 new paintings in the next 2 weeks, which I am very excited about! So watch this space!  Talk again soon!

Gallery opening
What can I say... It was just the most beautiful spring morning, and exactly 1 year after quitting my career to start a new business and make art full time.  13 September 2025 ❤️ So many people came, and I was just overwhelmed by the support. Alot of artworks have found new homes, and I was so happy that everyone loved my handmade Jesmonite creations to!  I am just so inspired!  We did a LIVE draw for the raffle , and a huge congratulations to all the winners  🏆  And if you couldn't make it, I hope you would pop in and come have a look. It will be a ongoing process, since I have so many ideas.  And all I can say is THANK YOU. It was just an amazing day, especially with my husband and our daughter by my side. I could not have done it without them.   Come visit at 144 Mayne Street, Murrurundi, NSW

A day to remember!
I cannot put into words the overwelming feeling of surprise, gratitude and thankfulness for the phone call I got this morning. I had to work night shift last night, so I could not attend the Scone art prize opening event, which is normally one of my favourite events of the year. But I received the most amazing phone call this morning that put me to tears. My artwork 'Limitless' has WON the Potter Macqueen Prize!  I cannot say thank you enough!  I am going to cherish this day forever!

It's almost time!
Wow, it has been a very exciting time trying to get everything fixed up for the art gallery. I absolutely love the rustic feel of the space, and I think it will suit showcasing my art, as well as another local artist's sculptures really well. There was alot of cleaning and painting the last 2 months, and now we are starting to layout the space, and hang some artworks! I am aiming to have the opening on the weekend of 13 September 2025, this will be exactly 1 year after leaving my career of 23 years in the horse industry to become a full time artist. So I am pushing hard to make everything/ ordering prints and getting all the hand made goods labelled and sorted. I really hope that people will pop in and have a look!  Hopefully some lovely lunch specials at the Royal Hotel to go with the opening 🤔 😀  I will definitely put together a proper information post closer to the time.  Everything is starting to come together ❤️  thank you for all the support!  The countdown has officially begun!
