First Pocket Gallery Edition is out!
And what a way to start the new year!  So the very first edition for the Pocket Gallery Print Club has gone out, and the response has been amazing so far!  Who would have ever thought that this was something that I would love so much.  I absolutely enjoyed every moment putting this all together. I loved the process so much, that I have the next 12 months already planned out 😅 I am so happy that my subscribers loved their first art print and all the goodies that came with it.  How lovely to receive messages from you all.  I very much look forward to putting together the February edition.   And if you enjoy collecting small art pieces, junk journaling, small surprises, or just love receiving personalised mail, this is for you. Keep an eye out for previous editions. They will be made available in Limited numbers as we move along in this journey.

    Finally! I have a LOGO!
Well...this is embarrassing.  I have been a full time artist for over a year now, and I never had a logo!  Now, it's not that I didn't try. It was just so difficult to think of anything.  I blame Artist Brain. So today was the day! I sat down and decided that I need to do this. And I have to say, I did ask for some counselling from my lovely Facebook friends ❤️ After a couple of samples, I landed on this one. And I really like it. The picture is of my very first bird portrait I did called 'Little Blue'. I felt that he would resonate with a wider audience. I also LOVE neutral colours, hence the background.  And now I can finally start working on my branding. Yay!  It was a very productive day 😁

      Jesmonite Creations
So it has been a very busy week creating new jesmonite prodructs.  They have been a great hit! And they make perfect gifts for anyone who just loves to decorate their space.  Each one is so unique and totally 'one-of-a-kind' ❤️  Handmade by myself , and double sealed with an acrylic sealer, so they are water and scratch resistant. I am absolutely in love with the process of making these, and I hope you will come check them out.

'King of the Ranges' weekend - Murrurundi
It's another beautiful spring weekend here in Murrurundi, and there is a lot of excitement around the 'King of the Ranges' event happening only a couple blocks from my art gallery.  It has been really lovely seeing so many new faces, and from so many different parts of the Hunter. This weekend I introduced 'Little Silver' - a Graphite sketch of a young Brahman calf, as seen in the photo. I wanted to try out some new tools that I bought recently, and I have to say, that I thoroughly enjoyed creating this piece. There are a lot of little details when you look closely.  I have been working very hard on creating new artworks to fill up the empty spots that has been left after the Opening Day. 😅 And I cannot thank everyone enough for all the kind words of encouragement and support.  I will be releasing 2 new paintings in the next 2 weeks, which I am very excited about! So watch this space!  Talk again soon!
